This is how pad has been since June 2020:

Once you go down the winding stairs, the foyer, which is comfortably furnished in a classy retro-look, unfolds in front of you. There is a bar as well as a small stage in the foyer. The stage can be used for small actions and concerts.

Pad has wheelchair access via Langer-Hunikelweg. Please let us know at the main entrance if you wish to use the wheelchair access. Please note: there is no disabled toilet available at the theatre.

From Nov. 2007 until June 2020 pad has been located in a former warehouse in the basement of the apartment building at Leibnizstraße 46. Slightly hidden, next to a restaurant is our entrance, which leads to our entrance hall. The entrance hall was also used as a box office during events.

After we had to give up this great venue the new Situation of pad is quite vague, for details see main/front page.

Through a curtain you can enter our stage area, as well as the toilets and a small side room, which can be used for installations and happenings. Our stage has a width of 8m and a depth of 8m or 11m (depending on how the curtain is put up). It can fit an audience of 70 people max. Due to the fact that the building was not planned as a theatre, we have several columns on the stage. But this did not stop the numerous artists which came to pad to present interesting and innovative projects in our place.
