5 pm reading :Angelika Wende, former ZDF announcer, author and speaker reads from the novel “Tsotsi” by Athol Fugard:

Tsotsi is a ghetto boy. His home is the slums of Johannisburg. His life is dominated by violence and crime. His existence is a struggle for mere survival, the memory of his childhood a shadow he tries to suppress. But one day fate gives him a chance …

Tsotsi is a powerful and moving story about trying to change his life and at the same time a tragedy that makes it hard for us to believe in a higher meaning. (Angelika Wende)
