“Sex sells” – the self as a commodity? On the last evening of the festival, the question is asked by the team “Kassandra Production” about the Danish actress, singer, director, choreographer, dancer and performer Annika B. Lewis in two performances of different genres:
“Life Hacking” is an expressionist dance piece in three scenic images. Sometimes naked in a raincoat, sometimes in a pink tutu, sometimes only outfitted with pubic hair made of bright red wool and with a variety of designer bags, Lisbeth Sonne Andersen and Annika B. Lewis play with the attitudes of today’s consumer world. In their poppy-bizarre dance performance, they go to the limits of artistic self-promotion, offering the audience their most intimate details.
