Graft

GraftFront

London performance artist and stage designer Mamoru Iriguchi returns to the pad stage with his latest solo.
After a two-year break, the native Japanese graduated this year his seventh (!) guest performance in the pad.
In his current production Graft, audience favorite Iriguchi focuses on the different roles and facets of an individual in a ludicrous experiment: Surrounded by a lot of laptops, Mamoru finds himself, casually, like a magician, playfully, in a bathrobe and with Coffee mug in hand, with the help of Skype and his laptops his digital twin. Of course it is Mamoru himself who personifies his digital image. Or not? Together, Mamoru and his double look out at the blue sky and green fields of a Windows desktop. They are connected and yet separated. They have intersections, overlap, divide and connect.
