5 pm – Reading: Angelika Wende, former ZDF announcer, author and spokeswoman, brings to the screen the novel “The Kite Runner” by the Afghan-American writer Khaled Hosseini:
Khaled Hosseini’s novel is a sensitive story about friendship, betrayal, guilt and the opportunity to apologize. Against the background of Afghanistan at the time of the war in the 1970s and 20 years later – under the Taliban regime – an enthralling drama unfolds centering on the question, “Is there a way to be good again?”
6 pm – During the break between reading and film screening, the lounge serves delicious food from Ha Noi restaurant.
7pm – Film Screening: we will show the film for the literary work of Khaled Hosseini on a big screen.
