El Cuco Projekt
EL CUCO PROJEKT is based in the dance production studios of Barnes Crossing in Cologne and in Berlin since 2015. With its production “Serving Suggestion” it was nominated by the Deutsche Forum für Figurentheater und Puppenspielkunst for the Fritz-Wortelmann-Prize 2015 in Bochum. Departing and central point of our aesthetic creation is playing with movement and (animal) masques. Through their way of playing they adapt and break with classical principles of Masque Play, as well as dominating rules of Contemporary Dance and established understandings of Performance in Visual Art.
