Daphna Horenczyk
Born in Israel, 1987. Gaduated as a dance major from Ironi Alef high school in Tel-Aviv.
Between 2006-2008 studied in the professional dance training program in Kibbutz Gaaton. In
2008 worked as a freelance dancer, rehearsal director and movement instructor for theater in
Israel. In 2009 Daphna moved to Austria to study in SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy
of Dance) both in the performance and choreography programs. During her studies in
Salzburg, she managed to create 3 pieces which had toured in Israel and Europe, and
worked as a rehearsal director. Between 2012-2015 Daphna was based in Tel-Aviv, worked
as a freelance dancer and choreographer, as well as on different collaborations, worked as a
rehearsal director for independent dance projects and was teaching contemporary dance. Her
works performed in festivals such as Machol Shalem, Intimadance, Tmuna Festival (IL), No
Ballet (GR), MAAT (PL) and more.
Since 2015 Based in Munich, Germany.
