“Do you ever get the feeling it’s someone with you in a room you can not see?”
Inspired by Georg Büchner’s “Woyzeck”, Amanda Price and Mary Steadman explore the disturbing character of enchanted places and the aura of the uncanny in their gloomy, ironic stage play.
It begins with a corpse … the soul of the brutally murdered Marie from Büchner ‘s piece is trapped in a place where the spirits wait – a place where the bodiless sneak into our imagination, through our dreams and on the eerie edges of ours Imagination lurking.
The stage is not to be trusted; there are no roles, only ghosts. And the actors do not play, they are obsessed!
