{"id":1159,"date":"2016-03-09T10:50:52","date_gmt":"2016-03-09T09:50:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/archive.pad-mainz.de\/en\/?page_id=1159"},"modified":"2018-07-12T16:17:15","modified_gmt":"2018-07-12T14:17:15","slug":"profile","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/archive.pad-mainz.de\/en\/profile\/","title":{"rendered":"Profile"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><strong>pad is a presentation and production venue for contemporary expressions in Performance, Dance and Installation.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The Program consists of a variety of events, guest performances and in-house productions of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schmittundschulz.de\/en\/home-2\/\">Schmitt&amp;Schulz<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Events, formats and series&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The International Performance Festival (yearly from the end of April until the beginning of May)<\/li>\n<li>The Dance Weekend (yearly in June or July)<\/li>\n<li>Museum Night in pad (June in odd years)<\/li>\n<li>Watch&amp;Eat Durational Performance-Improvisation Nonstopstage from Schmitt&amp;Schulz<\/li>\n<li>A variety of guest performances<\/li>\n<li>Large pad in-house production (yearly in November)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasis, Imagery, Ideas, Principles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are always open for other performers or groups wanting to collaborate as artist(s) in residence or within our yearly in-house production.<\/p>\n<p>Our emphasis is on Performance as a staged production. However, Live-Art, Visual Art or other innovative forms of presentations such as installations, exhibitions, action poetry or concerts are also welcome.<\/p>\n<p>The curatorial choice of our Program emphasises solely artistic quality and innovation. The productions are focused on authentic community issues and current trends.<\/p>\n<p>pad is a member of Laprofth e.V.
